It is our intention that this site is as user-friendly as possible and we hope that whether you are looking for specific information or just having a general look at our congregation that this resource will be a useful tool for you. If you have any comments or feedback then please let us know.

Coigach is the parish name for the area around the village of Achiltibuie on the North West Coast of Scotland. We are located at the entrance of the village of Achiltibuie (see ‘Where we are’ link) and we are within easy travelling distance of most of the parish population. Achiltibuie and its neighbouring villages are renowned as a popular tourist destination with many thousands of people who come to our villages for hill walking or to relax in the beautiful and stunning scenery of this part of the Scottish Highlands. So if you are planning a few days break Coigach is the ideal destination for you, and in the Coigach Free Church we would be delighted to give you a warm Highland welcome to our worship services.

We exist as a congregation to proclaim the God-given message of the Bible so that people will come to know Jesus Christ for themselves and be encouraged and strengthened in that knowledge. Like our sister congregation in Coigach we depend upon God as we attempt to proclaim his message in line with our congregational motto ‘Caring, Contemporary, Compassionate Christianity for the Community’. We have no better message to give than the message God has revealed to us in the Bible – a message we believe is as relevant today as when it was first given.

So whether you intend to take a holiday in Coigach or to stay more permanently we would be thrilled to have you join with us as we worship God. In the meantime we hope you enjoy the website.
